Installing Net iD Enterprise

System requirements

Operating systems:

  • Windows 7

  • Windows 8.1

  • Windows 10

  • Windows 2008 R2

  • Windows 2012 R2

  • Windows 2016

  • OS X 10.11

  • macOS 10.12

  • Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (32/64 bit)

  • Ubuntu 17.04 (32/64 bit)

  • If installation packages for other Linux distributions are needed, please contact SecMaker.

Installation Windows

  1. Run iidsetup.exe.

    • Silent installation: run iidsetup.exe /q via Command Prompt.

  2. Select language.

  3. Read and accept the license agreement.

  4. Click Install.

  5. The 000055 icon is now added to the taskbar. Right click and select Administration to manage your tokens.

Installation OS X/macOS

  1. Run Net iD Setup to start installation.

  2. Select language.

  3. Read and accept the license agreement.

  4. Click Install.

  6. Click OK to finish installation and start Net iD Enterprise.

Installation Linux

  1. Make sure you are logged on as Root (su). Alternatively, write sudo before the command (enter the root password).

  2. Open a terminal window and execute the command:
    sudo tar -xvf iidsetup.tar.gz

  3. Replace iidsetup.tar.gz with the name of the file you received.

  4. A folder called iidsetup is created. Execute the command:
    cd iidsetup.

  5. Execute the following command in iidsetup folder:
    sudo ./install

    1. libwebkit is required for the graphical interface.

    2. libnss3-tools is required for installation of pkcs11 module in Firefox.

  6. After successful installation information is presented on how to access the command utility and Administration GUI.

Uninstall Windows

Via Control panel:

  1. Open Control Panel – Programs and Features.

  2. Select Net iD and click Uninstall/Change.

Via Command Prompt:

  1. Start Command Prompt.

  2. Navigate to Net iD installation folder (%PROGRAMFILES%\Net iD).

  3. Run iid.exe –uninstall.

    • Silent uninstall run iidxcmt.exe –uninstall –silent

Uninstall OS X/macOS

  1. Open Terminal and navigate to /etc/iid/.

  2. Run command:
    sudo ./uninstall to uninstall the software and all components.

Uninstall Linux

  1. Open Terminal and navigate to one of the folders iidsetup or /etc/iid/.

  2. Run command:
    sudo ./uninstall to uninstall the software and all components.
